MISSIONS WE SUPPORT

See the event calendar below and current announcements for opportunities to raise funds and support these ministries.

Redeeming Life Outreach Ministries

Motivated by God’s grace, Redeeming Life Outreach Ministries seeks to reach out with the love of Christ to support single expectant and postpartum mothers. They do this by providing a safe and stable home.  The women have opportunities for growth in their relationship with their Savior, as well as career, parenting, and life skills education. RLOM is a pro-life ministry. They support mothers whether they choose to place their baby for adoption or to parent. Either way, they walk alongside them in their journey. Every woman who calls Redeeming Life home will find help, love, and support. Redeeming Life is a recognized service organization of the LCMS-Northern Illinois District. They are excited to announce their new maternity home location in East Dundee, IL.

Samaritan's Purse

The story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:30-37) gives a clear picture of God’s desire for us to help those in desperate need wherever we find them. After describing how the Samaritan rescued a hurting man whom others had passed by, Jesus told His hearers, “Go and do likewise.” For over 50 years, Samaritan’s Purse has done their utmost to follow Christ’s command by going to the aid of the world’s poor, sick, and suffering. They are an effective means of reaching hurting people in countries around the world with food, medicine, and other assistance in the Name of Jesus Christ. This, in turn, earns them a hearing for the Gospel, the Good News of eternal life through Jesus Christ.

During the Christmas season, Immanuel actively supports Samaritan's Purse through Operation Christmas Child. Both church and school families donate and pack shoebox items. Donations are collected in classrooms and at the giving tree in the church lobby.
