Joyful Sounds Handbell Choir. Directed by Joanne Zillman, the handbell choir performs 6-8 times per year. They practice Thursday evenings at 6:30 PM prior to the day they play. Performance dates include Christmas, Easter, and Lessons & Carols services.
Brass ensemble. Led by Dale Rudy, the brass ensemble performs at Reformation, Christmas Eve, and Easter services; along with special summer performances. All brass players are welcome. The ensemble practices 1 or 2 times prior to performance.
Soloists or small performance groups. During summer break, from June to mid-August, soloists and small performance groups are invited to perform during services.
School choirs. There are several school choirs as well. These are only for children enrolled in the school, but all are welcome to support them and watch their public performances as listed on the event calendar below.
Lessons & Carols Service. A tradition started in 1994, the annual Lessons and Carols service is held on the 1st Saturday in December. At this service we prepare our hearts and minds for the birth of our Savior. There are 9 scripture readings with musical performances in-between including special anthems, congregational hymns, string ensembles and choirs. There is usually a mass choir performance at the service, but we have modified due to recent COVID restrictions.
