Sunday School

Sunday School

Watch how Dig In works here.

Sunday School is important. It matters to kids, it helps parents fulfill their mission, and most importantly it matters to God--because Jesus loves kids. The church was never meant to be the exclusive faith teacher of children. Instead, God’s plan was for the two institutions [church and family] to form a partnership. Children need opportunities for discovery, review, and interaction as they study God’s principles. Sunday school meets these needs!

  • Our curriculum, DIG IN, helps you guide preschool through sixth grade kids to new discoveries about God, creating a firm and comprehensive foundation of faith to last a lifetime. DIG IN allows us to adapt lessons to fit your children’s unique needs with creative, multisensory experiences that immerse them in deep Bible learning, helping them know Jesus personally and grow in relationship with Him.
  • Sunday School gears Bible teaching to a specific age group, so a wiggly four-year-old can discover great biblical truth by acting out a Bible story, completing dot-to-dot pictures, singing fun songs, and obeying parents. During the same hour, older children discuss how things that happen at school or sports might reflect their trust in God. Both age groups leave Sunday school with specific applications for the week.
  • When children attend Sunday school, they find the age-appropriate Bible teaching their young minds are so eager to absorb. Their teachers shape the lessons to meet the comprehension level and interest of any age. Our Sunday School leaders incorporate fun activities, like crafts and skits, into the lesson so your children are better able to remember them.
  • Parenting is tough, but when you have Sunday school teachers working to mentor your children, they can provide another source of guidance. The church is a community where we help our neighbors. When you take your children to Sunday school, you can rest assured you have qualified help with their spiritual education.
  • If you start consistently taking your kiddos to church when they’re young, they will forever learn good habits of church attendance. For the rest of their lives, they’ll benefit from the knowledge they gained in Sunday school.
  • Don’t forget the importance of play and fun. With talented teachers, great activities, and friends they enjoy, your children will love going to Sunday School every week. This is a great way to show your kids learning about God is really cool.
