This retreat focuses on building spiritual habits as a couple. Through discussion and personal stories, our speakers will help couples discover how to both read the Bible and pray together. Participants will talk about where they’ve seen and heard God on their journey as a couple and how Christian marriage can point others to a loving God.

Over the course of the weekend we will explore five discipleship practices. Usually these are habits we consider as we think about investing in our own personal relationship with Jesus and allow His Spirit to make us more like Him. But in this retreat, we will take time to reflect on how to practice and build these habits AS A COUPLE.

What does it look like for A COUPLE to have a prayer life? In what ways is Jesus leading us to a deeper connection with Him and each other as we dig into the Word TOGETHER?

How can we capitalize on our strengths as A COUPLE and consider serving those around us? First, we take time to reflect and remember what God has done in our marriage already. Then, we look to see where He is leading us to take our next steps to intentionally grow in greater faith and love for Him and each other.

Korey and James Wysocki will share with us some ways they have experienced God in their marriage through the many ups and downs. By God's grace and with His guidance, we will leave encouraged, with our faith and marriage rekindled.

Dinner on Friday evening is being lovingly prepared by our brothers and sisters at San Pablo Lutheran Church in Aurora. Lunch on Saturday will be on your own. A list of nearby restaurants will be provided.
