The governor's office has issued a clarification that churches, and particularly worship services, are not included in the state-wide mask mandate. As such, masks are now optional at all weekend worship services and weekend Bible studies. People who are unvaccinated are strongly encouraged to wear a mask to all indoor activities.
As children are currently unable to receive vaccination, and to avoid confusion for those in our Day School, children in all classroom settings, including Sunday School, will be required to wear masks while they are in class. All weekday activities that occur during school hours at Immanuel will require masks due to the state-wide school mandate that does apply to Immanuel Lutheran School. If you have any questions please contact the church office and we will endeavor to answer them as soon as possible.
As always, the Covid protocols are fluid and subject to change at any time. Please be flexible as we seek to continue to follow the best path forward.
10/22/2021 Update - At the 10:30 AM Sunday service only - everyone please wear a mask into the building, masks are required during the entire service for those sitting in the outer wings on the right and left sides of the church and also in the balcony; once seated, masks are optional for those sitting in the middle pews of the sanctuary. See Pastor Kennaugh's update video below.
