Like a Thief in the Night

1 Thessalonians 5:1-2   Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you. . . are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.

Thought for Today

The Day of the Lord will come unexpectedly. No one knows the day or the hour it will come. God left it this way because we are a people who tend to wait until the last moment to act. By not telling us when He will come He makes every moment the possible last moment. Today is the day to tell someone the Good News of God’s love in Christ Jesus Who do you need to talk to about Jesus today? It may be the last day you have to tell them. There is no way to be sure.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, help me to use the time that I have to share the Good News with those You have placed in my path. Amen.
