The Promise Keeper 3

The Promise Keeper 3

Psalm 119:40

Your promises have been thoroughly tested, and your servant loves them.

Thought for Today

God has made so many promises about how He will provide for me, bless me and be with me in every trial. How do I know that God’s promises are true? The same way you do. I can recount time after time when God has faithfully provided for my needs or seen me through trials (often of my own making). However, I must confess that when the next need or trial appears on the horizon I quickly fall back into fear and doubt. I find comfort and strength when I look back on His unfailing faithfulness in my life. When I remember how He has kept His promises in the past, I can look with confidence into the future.

Loving Father, Thank you for the fingerprints of Your faithfulness and care that mark the whole of my life. Help me to look confidently to the future knowing that Your faithfulness has no end. Amen.
