The Promise Keeper 2

The Promise Keeper 2

Corinthians 1:20

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ.

Thought for Today

God made outrageous promises too. He promised to fix what we broke in the Garden of Eden. He promised to take our sin away. He promised to conquer death and give us everlasting life. And the answer to each of these promises was Jesus. Jesus conquered sin and death on the cross. Jesus made us holy and gave us everlasting life. This same Jesus has been given all authority in heaven and on earth (Matt 28:18). He who conquered sin and death for us now uses His power and authority to bless and care for us each and every day. No matter how many promises God has made to you, and there are about 6,000 in the Bible, they are “Yes” in Jesus.

Blessed Jesus, thank You for not only having the answer to my every need, but being the answer. Give me the strength to come to You today, knowing that every promise is “yes” in You. Amen.
