Lazarus House is a ministry to the homelesss and is located in St. Charles, Illinois. Immanuel’s ministry to Lazarus House is to provide supper and the next day’s breakfast and lunch one day each month on the third Friday. Breakfast consists of donations of cold cereal, milk, and bagels. Lunch (sandwiches) is provided by ILS Cub Scout Troop 912. Dinner is provided through donations of ingredients, which are then prepared late Friday afternoon; typically beginning at 5 PM. At 6:30 PM, members Cheryl and Tom Olchawa arrive to pick up the meals and transport them to Lazarus House and stay to spend time sharing fellowship with those being served. Families and ministry groups interested in learning more about coordinating and staffing one month (planning menu, requesting donations, preparing the evening meal), are invited to contact Lori St.Vincent at 630 879 7163 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
