From Altar Guild to Worship Assistant...opportunities abound.
Consider working with the Altar Guild to help care for Immanuel’s worship spaces, linens, and communion ware. The group meets as a whole three times each year and volunteers typically serve on a team twice each year for one month at a time. Contact Penny in the church office to learn more.

BIBLE STUDY LEADER
Lead adults in studies that are Bible based and topical on Sunday mornings and possibly other times during the week. Contact Pr. Kennaugh to learn more.

The Christus Choir sings traditional sacred music approximately twice a month during worship services. This group also takes the lead at the annual Service of Lessons and Carols each December. Sharon Dalpini has all the details.
CLASSROOM READER AT ILS
Read aloud to students in elementary grades as arranged by the classroom teacher. Contact Heidi and Judy in the school office to learn more.
Visit local businesses and request that they allow ILCS to hang posters inviting the community to events hosted by Immanuel. Contact Lori St.Vincent to let her know you are willing to fill this need as it arises.
Be part of a development committee for an event at Immanuel like the annual OCC Packing Party or special events like Cinco de Mayo. Contact Megan Popp regarding current and upcoming opportunites.
FEEDING THE HUNGRY
Help develop a new work team that will take the lead in coordinating the fellowship portion of ILCS events. Contact Pr. Kennaugh to learn more.
Get together with family and friends and spend some time together in the garden at Immanuel. Help with weeding, pruning, and watering is much appreciated. Contact Penny in the Church Office for information.

Use ILCS equipment to mow and trim the lawn on campus approximately one time each month. Contact Paul to learn more and/or to schedule your time slot.
Sign up for the date and service that best fits your schedule, then warmly welcome all to worship. If requested, share information on locations of nursery, drinking fountains, etc. The sign up sheet is available on the ledge at the entrace to the sanctuary. LAZARUS HOUSE MEAL PREP
A great ministry opportunity for individuals, families, and small groups! Prepare the meal for Lazarus House homeless shelter on the third Friday of the month of your choice. Recipes and ingredients are donated—all you need to do is cook and pack for transport by other volunteers. Contact Lori St.Vincent for details or to schedule your Friday.
LEAD AN ILS ELECTIVE
Share a talent or special knowledge with students in a half-day elective; ideas include artistic talents, model construction, computer skills, musical instruments, etc. Contact Heidi and Judy in the school office to learn more.
LEAD AN ILS AFTER SCHOOL CLUB

LIBRARY HELPER AT ILS

Instrumentalists and vocalists are invited to join in praising God through contemporary Christian music. Members rotate responsibilities during the month. Pr. Kennaugh has all the details.

SHOP WITH SCRIP
Raise money for ILCS and save money on everyday purchases! Shop with Scrip allows families to do both while purchasing items such as gas, groceries, and clothing. Retailers offer a rebate percentage; 55 percent of this rebate goes to ILCS and 45 percent is refunded to purchasers at the end of the school year. SPORTS COACH AT ILS
Work with other volunteers to coach students in cross country, track and field, basketball, volleyball, or cheerleading. Contact Sharon Dalpini, Athletic Director, to learn more.
SUNDAY SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS
Lead children through each week’s Sunday School lesson with help from additional classroom volunteers using materials supplied well ahead of class. Contact Mary Wert to learn more.

TUESDAY LUNCHROOM SUPERVISOR
Sign up for once or twice (or more) to work with other volunteers on Tuesdays to supervise the student lunch hour to give the teachers a quiet lunch break once a week. Contact Heidi and Judy in the school office to learn more.
Work with Immanuel’s ministry directors to develop programming and events for ILCS High School Youth (HSY). Meetings are currently held on first and third Sunday evenings each month. Contact Kari Larsen to learn more.
Help worshippers locate seating, provide directions, locate large print copies or amplification devices, collect offerings and tithes, and provide other services as needed. Contact Penny in the church office to learn more.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL VOLUNTEER
Provide leadership and care for a group of 10 to 12 children during VBS week (Jun. 18-22). Leaders reinforce the lessons taught through a variety of means and ensure timely and safe travel from station to station. Volunteer here or contact Mary Wert for more information.
